I had an appointment at the eye hospital. The staff are doing a great job under difficult circumstances. My only complaint is that I am never given any information about the appointment e.g. whether I will see the consultant or not or which tests I will be having. I then don't hear any more for several weeks until I get a paper letter telling me I have another appointment in four months' time. In terms of managing the appointment itself and conducting the tests, the staff in the eye hospital are great. I just wish I knew more about the results of the tests and what to expect before I arrive.

The nurses and staff at the John Radcliffe hospital on the neuroscience ward were all lovely and very friendly and had time to chat to you as with these difficult times you couldn’t have many visitors.

I was admitted to the gynaecology ward. The nursing staff could not do enough for me. Made me feel extremely welcome and thought after. Even with all the additional stresses with the virus the care was outstanding. Anything I asked was always taken into account. Whilst admitted I was also given the opportunity to speak with the pain clinic and a long term plan has been put in place to avoid further admission and care. We are so privileged to live so close to an amazing hospital and staff.

The Cancer operation that was carried out at the John Ratcliff hospital by MR Stuart Winter was second to none in the country. The after care that I received in the surgical ward was excellent. The staff on that ward are very dedicated and caring people. I think all wards should be as fully staffed and funded as the surgical ward seamed to be. Thank you all for our wonderful National Health Service, If it was not for all of you I would not have been able to have worked for more than 50 years, and I would not be alive to day.

I am lucky, I have never been unwell before so the experience of going to hospital was a totally new one to me. The care I received at the John Radcliffe was outstanding. I never felt alone or scared or even worried - I knew the best that could be done, would be done.

I went to my first 12 week pregnancy scan on the 1st June and was the first appointment. I was told to wait in the corridor while they had a meeting, which I didn’t think was very good for myself or the other pregnant women having to stand. The sonogropher was rude and abrupt from start to finish and did not talk me through anything. I was nervous and on my own and was a really horrible experience, so much that when I came out, I was in tears and my partner thought the worst. She also hurt me, I know this as have had private scan since that didn’t hurt. She is in the wrong job.

My wife recently gave birth to our beautiful boy. An emergency c section was needed and the delivery team and mid-wives were great. Helped my wife and I understand Why the c section was needed and kept both of us calm throughout the operation. Thanks again :)
